500 years ago, Chulan Herman, the founder of Herman Industries, began development of weapons that would allow his small company the chance to break into the highly competitive firearms market.

450 years later, his direct blood descendant, Scanthi Herman would eventually regain control of the family business and set about expanding its influence across human controlled space.

Like his ancestor, Scanthi was a designer of unparalleled vision and ability. Always insisting on a personal touch, he oversaw the development of the prototype that would later become the ASI series used by the Liberation Fleet on its mission to Arkadia.

However, Scanthi, like Chulan before him, kept his best work for a very small and exclusive group. This model is one of only a handful known to exist anywhere in human controlled space. It was personally made by Scanthi himself as his legacy to both company and family. As such, its value is incalculable.
